Biobank Norway 5 has been awarded funding from the Research Council of Norway!

- We are delighted and proud that Biobank Norway 5 is among the projects awarded funding in the Research Council of Norway’s call for national research infrastructure, says Project Leader Therese Haugdahl Nøst

Biobank Norway 5 will further develop the national infrastructure for biological samples and associated health data. Its services enable valuable material and data to be preserved, linked and made available securely and responsibly for medical research in Norway.

The aim is to make it easier for Norwegian researchers and healthcare communities to use valuable health information efficiently, securely and responsibly.

Biobank Norway 5 was the only health research infrastructure project funded in this call. This is an important recognition of a long-term collaboration and of the expertise built across the consortium over many years.
